When to plant and prune Lady's mantle
Lady's mantle flowers from mid June to late July and the dates below cover planting, flowering and the pruning window.
Planting, flowering and pruning by region
Lady's mantle is grown to the calendar rather than to the frost, so the same dates apply across the whole UK and every region below reads the same. Where a plant’s timings do follow the frost, Plot shifts them from the Midlands and Lowland Wales baseline using Met Office average frost dates.

Growing notes
Deadhead before the seed sets or it will seed itself into every gravel path and paving crack in the garden. The downy leaves are one of the few things slugs, snails, rabbits and deer all tend to leave alone.
